The mission of the Grant County Building Department is to protect the health and safety of the citizenry by ensuring safe minimum levels of construction through enforcement of the uniform Kentucky Building Code. This is closely followed by the enforcement of the Grant County Zoning Regulations which provides for safe orderly growth of our community. The Grant County Building Department affirms that the most appropriate manner in which to fulfill its mission is through partnership with the building community, whether private homeowners, commercial developers, or design professionals.
